• nocloud-theme — stores your preferred colour scheme (light or dark). This is set when you toggle the theme switch. It contains no personal data.
• nocloud-cookie-ack — records that you have dismissed the cookie information banner so it does not appear on every page load. It contains no personal data.

Both values are simple strings stored entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to our server or any third party.

3. What We Do NOT Use

To be completely clear, this website does not use:

• Tracking cookies of any kind
• Analytics services — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo, no Fathom, nothing
• Third-party cookies — no advertising networks, no data brokers
• Advertising cookies — we do not run ads
• Social media pixels — no Meta Pixel, no Twitter/X tracking, no LinkedIn Insight
• Browser fingerprinting — we do not collect device or browser information for identification
• Session cookies — there are no user accounts, so there are no session cookies

4. Third-Party Services

When you proceed to checkout, your payment is handled by Stripe. During the checkout process, Stripe may set cookies on your device for fraud prevention and to ensure the security of the transaction. These cookies are managed entirely by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Outside of the checkout flow, no third-party services are loaded on this website.

5. How to Manage

Since we only use localStorage, you can clear it at any time through your browser settings:

• Go to your browser's Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear browsing data (or Clear site data).
• Select the option to clear site data or local storage for no-cloud.uk.

The only effect of clearing this data is that your theme preference will reset to the default and the cookie information banner will appear again. No other functionality is affected.
